Solarsonic Band: In Transit continues Inhwa Yeom’s XR- and AI-based virtual performance band in the era of climate crisis. The band crosses the lithosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, and atmosphere, rehearsing performances for a future that has not yet arrived. Their journey is less a route to a fixed destination than a process of adapting to changing conditions and forming new relations among humans, technology, and environments.

Displayed across the panoramic LED screen in Incheon International Airport Terminal 2’s departure hall, the work turns an actual transit space into a provisional climate landscape. Visitors become fellow travellers—and imagined band members—within an ongoing story of movement, cooperation, and adaptation.
