About Pale Blue Dot, 2247

Pale Blue Dot, 2247 transforms the passenger journey through Incheon International Airport into a speculative journey beyond Earth. Across seven works by four Korean artists, the exhibition considers what humanity might leave behind, carry forward, and rediscover when life moves beyond this planet.

At the Terminal 2 departure hall, Solarsonic Band: In Transit follows Yeom’s virtual band across the lithosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, and atmosphere. Near Gate 232, Takeaway: Love, Peace, Hospitality asks which values and sensory orientations should accompany humanity into an unfamiliar world. Together, the two works connect climate adaptation, artificial intelligence, moving image, installation, and the ethics of arrival.
