Overview
<Diva Spectra>(2024) draws inspiration from the physical and metaphysical interactions between “light and humanity,” portraying the organic fusion of diversities that continuously intersect and overlap within this relationship. Both light and humanity are material and immaterial, and embody “diversity.” Light traverses the spectrum of human visual perception — from natural visible light, ultraviolet, and infrared rays to artificial illumination. Humanity manifests its diversity through fluid identities based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, culture, values, and behaviors. <Diva Spectra> depicts the phenomena of these diversities organically combining as they endlessly intersect and overlap in the relationship between light and humanity.

빛과 인간은 모두 “다양성”을 지니는 물질이자 비물질입니다. 빛은 인간의 시각적 인지 범위를 넘나들며 자연 속 가시광선, 자외선, 적외선부터 인공조명까지 다양한 색상, 형태, 온도 등으로서 감각됩니다. 인간은 각기 다른 국적, 민족, 성, 종교, 문화, 가치관과 행동 등을 토대로 한 유동적인 정체성 속에서 그 다양성을 재현합니다. <디바 스펙트라>는 빛과 인간 간의 물리적이고도 비물리적인 상호작용으로부터 영감을 받아, 그 속에서 끊임없이 교차, 중첩되는 다양성들이 유기적으로 결합하는 현상을 묘사합니다.
