“Fusion” describes physical and social processes of pull and push, collision and reaction, combination and absorption, heat generation and continuation. The Water on Fire series uses a 3D performative apparatus-environment to stage moments in which seemingly different things—like water and fire—interact and coexist under specific conditions.

The 2025 PRPT edition brings together three works: Water on Fire: Sparkler (2021/2025), Water on Fire: Reaction (2021/2025), and Water on Fire: An Hommage to Every Terrifying Angel (2022/2025).
