Diva Spectra

Diva Spectra (2024) is a single-channel video installation inspired by the physical and metaphysical relationship between light and humanity. Light moves across visible, ultraviolet, infrared, natural, and artificial spectra; human identities likewise remain plural and fluid across nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, culture, values, and behaviour.

Crystalline materials and moving images stage these spectra as intersecting systems rather than fixed categories. The work received the Emerging Media Artist Award commemorating the first anniversary of LG Arts Center Seoul.
